Le Classique is the brainchild of Marc Foidart and Rob Tetrault, who conceived of the idea at the Garage Café in 2012. The objective was to figure out an effective way to raise money and awareness for Congenital CMV Research through the Canadian CMV Foundation.

The Mind your Mental Health campaign was originally developed by MJ Designs for the Manitoba Psychological Society, then adapted and expanded for the Canadian Psychological Association.

Emad Pharmacy is a brand new pharmacy in Winnipeg, Manitoba that provides pharmaceutical services for Winnipeg, as well as Northern reserves. MJ Designs was approached to create the logo, branding, website, and all marketing materials for the pharmacy. 

A design was developed which incorporates pharmaceutical iconography, as well as a stylized medicine wheel, which is a symbol of indigenous North American culture. They were originally constructed as stone structures, for ritual, healing, and teaching purposes. Medicine wheels have been built and engaged ritually for millenia, and today , they are built and employed in a variety of mediums, often representing healing and vitality.

Modest Elegance began in 2010 as a part-time kiosk around Winnipeg selling mainly shawls and pashminas. The name Modest Elegance came about to describe the look one exudes when wrapped in a soft, warm, and luxurious shawl.

Since then they've continuously increased their product line with the objective of keeping things fresh and trendy, yet classical and unique, like the Turkish copper jewellery that date back to the Ottoman empire.

In her new young-adult novel “Daughter of Skye” (published by iUniverse, June 2012), Thérèse Pilon shares the story of a young heroine surviving in a strange new land, weaving in the culture and stories of Native American tradition.

“Daughter of Skye” tells the story of a young woman’s journey through time when she is thrust by a being known as the Other into a strange world ruled by deception and fear. "This is Beirut" Blog was started by Danielle Baiz, a 25 year old American from Miami who spontaneously decided to move to Beirut. The blog shares her experiences, thoughts, and perspectives on her work and adventures in the country. The blog at once point became the most read blogs in the country.
